How to Place Your Order 3 easy steps 1. Request a free Evaluation / Estimate • To start your order, please send digital copies of your images to The Image Spot by e-mail or regular mail. Please let us know what you'd like to have done to your photos and the size and number of prints you would like to receive. You will receive an estimate by email within 48 hours. The Proofing/Printing Process • Proofing (maximum of two proofs per image) Once we are satisfied that your restoration/retouching request is complete, we will send you a digital proof by e-mail. After you have approved the proof (in writing or by e-mail) we will begin printing and archiving your images. • Printing Your images will be printed on your choice of professional quality photo papers. 3. Delivery • Shipping/Delivery Allow approximately 3-4 weeks for Restoration, Photo Retouching, and Alteration requests to be completed. If you require rush restorations, please e-mail or call for a quote. Important information regarding your Original Image • While filling out the Online Estimate Request Form you will be prompted to upload high resolution scans of your images or send paper originals (or digital files on CD Rom) by mail. • Pre-Scanned/Digital images must be in JPEG or TIFF format with a minimum of 300 DPI (photos requiring enlargement must have a minimum of 600 DPI). • All of the Restoration/Photo Retouching/Alteration work is digitally applied to a high resolution scan of your image. Your original image will not be harmed in any way and will be returned with your prints/archives. • Original paper photos received will be scanned in high resolution with a professional flat bed scanner. Scanning is included in the service price.
